AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

The Paralympic Golf Association of India (PGAI) shall provide a Golf sports programme for golfers with physical disabilities in India and further.

The Objects for which the society is registered are:-

1. To promote, popularize and develop all the sports for Paralympic Golf in India.
2. To control and organize Paralympic Golf activities in India.
3. To provide facilities for training in the filed of golf and other sports.
4. To involve more & more youngsters in Paralympic Golf.
5. To provide knowledge and technique in Paralympic Golf.
6. To enforce rules and regulations of Paralympic Golf as framed by National and World Paralympic / Disables Golf Bodies.
7. To be the official organization and hold total charge of Paralympic Golf in India.
8. To select Paralympic Golfers for participation in National & International Level Tournaments and Import/Procure equipment not limited to Golf Kit, Golf Bolls, Golf Bags, Golf Surface, including artificial surface & grass, Golf course maintenance equipment & golf carts.    
9. To stimulate the interest of people of India in promotion of physically challenged sports persons by way of involvement of schools, colleges, Army, Air force, Navy, Police Forces, States  and also formation of Club.
10. To enroll Golf Clubs and Institutions in India and grant them affiliation based on their activities.
11. To take disciplinary action against any affiliated Club / Institution of misbehavior or any undesirable activities bringing discredit to the India.
12. It will also seek affiliation with National Sports Federations in Golf.
13. To have land & building for sports injury, health care & R&D in similar sports.
14. To conduct seminar, meetings, conferences for the welfare & development of such sports with accommodation facilities including its logistic etc.
